| Nikos Apollonio, luthier, composer, instrumentalist, a Rockport native exposed early to folk music and guitar; later, he began making instruments for artists ranging from Gordon Bok to Noel "Paul" Stookey. Influenced by American and Celtic music alike, Nikos is a master of many chordophones, especially the 10-string instrumental hybrid he developed called the bell cittern. A true musician's musician, Nikos is a legend in the "Music of the Maine Coast." | Michael Ronstadt, nephew of the Queen of Rock Linda Ronstadt, holds a master’s degree in cello performance from the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM). Michael brings a rich musical heritage and absolute knack for improvising up a storm! He displays genre-blending explorations on cello and guitar in complement to thought-provoking lyrics. Michael is a much sought-after studio musician who has appeared on more than 100 albums in the last fifteen years. | Charlie Ipcar, a native of mid-coast Maine, grew up on a working dairy farm surrounded by folksongs and art. He has performed and recorded as a soloist and as a member of the sea music group Roll & Go since 1990, performing and presenting several times at the Mystic Sea Music Festival. A well-known expert and lover of sea songs, Charlie co-edited The Complete Poetry of Cicely Fox Smith, as well as four songbooks! |

| Kat Logan is a native Mainer and both an artist and a musician. She is presently the resident artist at Robinhood Farm, home of the renowned artist Dahlov Ipcar. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Kat has recorded with many greats, including Gordon Bok (she illustrated his Other Eyes CD!) and is featured on the Grammy nominated CD Singing Through the Hard Times, A Tribute to Utah Phillips. She is presently in several musical groups and performs as a solo artist as well. | Bob Zentz, the award-winning “Tidewater Troubadour,” has brought songs and stories to audiences around the world for more than five decades. His work as the “father of folk” in Eastern Virginia earned him a place in Norfolk’s “Legends of Music Walk of Fame.” With his wife Jeanne, Bob co-founded the Ramblin’ Conrad Folklife Institute to help spread the gospel of folk through the “roots and branches” of the folk tradition. | Jeanne McDougall Zentz, song historian, writer, and musical soul, explores what songs can tell us about the places and people who created them. She is the executive director of the Ramblin’ Conrad Folklife Institute, which she co-founded with her husband, Bob. The song databases from her dissertation, ‘Fit to be sung in Streets:’ Song in British Colonial America, 1750-1776, will become part of the VastEarlyAmerica online project of the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture and the USC-Huntington Library Early Modern Studies Institute during 2019. |
